Welcome to the OCN Review Blog!
Let me first start off by congratulating you on choosing to take the OCN exam. Being certified is an accomplishment not only that you can be proud of, but that can truly affect your patients' outcomes.
Recent literature has shown that studying with your peers, and collaborating in this effort increases success rates versus studying solo. Therefore this blog is for you all. I hope you all can share with me and the others taking the exam tips or handouts that you have found effective for studying, and possibly get a discussion going. I will be posting handouts, study guides, case studies, and other documents to get you thinking, that will help you along the way to becoming certified. We will be using the Core Curriculum for Oncology Nursing 4th Edition Book and Study Guide by the Oncology Nursing Society as the basis of the review.
